Pelethrîn (one page spin-off)
A downloadable ttrpg
Imagine Lieam venturing through the Eternal Ruins when Hallownest suddenly spreads out in front of him, only that the wilderness captures more of the vibe from the Mine Colony. I'm well aware that just very few people will know of the Eternal Ruins, Mouse Guard, Hollow Knight, and the Gothic games.
Rustic settlements of small folk, but withstanding as solid as rocks the unforgiving, yet wondrous and widely unknown wilderness. I call it wildrim fantasy.
The system is derived from my main project Pelethrîn (currently in progress).
Pitch for Pelethrîn: Exploration and survival but without granular rules? Stealth, hunting, disputes, and every other obstacle you can imagine, as thrilling as combat? No, not everything is just a reskinned encounter: Pelethrîn's core mechanic embraces the very essence of conflict and stakes. Due to their circumstantiality, the rules are universally applicable and encourage varying and innovative approaches.
emergent complexity, driven by character motivation, fiction-first
Pitch for this one: Probably the same but less capable and fleshed out.
